The Whistler Irish Double Oaked Whiskey is a distinguished expression of Irish whiskey from the Boann Distillery, known for its innovative approach to maturation. This 40% ABV whiskey undergoes a unique "Double Oaked" process, initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in virgin oak casks. This dual maturation imparts a remarkable depth of flavour, with rich notes of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of spice, all balanced by the inherent smoothness characteristic of Irish whiskey. The 50ml miniature bottle is perfect for single serves, allowing customers to sample this premium whiskey or for use in tasting flights and gift sets.
Irish premium whiskey The Whistler Double Oaked, which is personally selected by Head Distiller. It is only made in small batches from the finest Irish barley and corn whiskey.
The composition contains a mixture of 20 % single barley whiskey malt and 80 % corn whiskey, which originally matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finally matured after mixing together for an extremely delicious taste in ex-sherry Oloroso barrels.
